We’ve read the books, watched the movies and miniseries, and imagined ourselves walking through the British countryside (and bumping into our own Mr. Darcy). Welcome to our month of Jane Austen. Buckle up, this might get intense. Let me take you back a few years. In July of 2017 Emily and I were in Ireland. One of the many places we went was Walter Scott’s home Abbotsford. While getting a tour we saw his amazing library and were then taken into the dining room. It was at this point in the tour that our guide said that in this very room Walter Scott got into an argument with Jane Austen about something book related.
